khimera
As far as I know this thing is relatively new and you want to prevent it from hitting your computer at ALL COSTS. It is a malware that encrypts your files and the perpetrators demand payments numbering hundreds of dollars in order to get your files back. There's no way to remove it once you have it and get the files back so remember to keep a safe backup on an external hard drive and update it weekly. At the very least run an anti-malware program like malwarebytes weekly as well, as that is very preventative. It's possible to remove it, as it takes 24 hours to encrypt your files and you can find it in your registry with names that have random words blocks with asterisks so if you find it unplug your computer and take your hard drive to an IT person who can help you as soon as possible. Just a general alert to the populace who like their computers intact.
ProjectKaeon
How do you even get this Malware? What do you do to encounter so I know what to stay away from? Like Websites? Fake Ads?
LukeAura
How do you even get this Malware? What do you do to encounter so I know what to stay away from? Like Websites? Fake Ads? I've heard it's primarily from fake e-mails.
