Frakattack
Right now, grinding for resources can be a rather laborious and, at times, frustrating ordeal. The Rubedo gathered during any given Earth mission can vary drastically. I was pondering ways in which to bring some structure to the chaos. What if each mission gave an allotment of resources when completed, rather than having to run around and collect it during the mission. Or perhaps both methods can coexist; the amounts found during a mission can just be icing on the cake. This idea led to another: multipliers and scoring for missions, such as the ones found in action games. During a mission, players can be ranked on various criteria, such as damage taken, combat finesse, mission completion time, full extraction, etc. A high ranking score can be rewarded with more resources, more credits, maybe the rare crafting resources such as Neural Sensors or Gallium, and maybe, for near-perfect scores, a small amount of platinum. But scoring can’t be a walk in the park to pull that off. Perhaps there can even be a separate ranking for team and an individual. This could even pave the way for leaderboards, but that might be tricky, considering the random nature of Warframe’s missions. And when stealth finds a more realized state, then that could come into play, too.
