Synicus
I've personally noticed no differences, was this occurance shortly after the last patch?

Shion963
I noticed this happening in Jackal's boss room even before the latest patch. My laptop is a few rungs lower than OP's and I play with all effects off.
valkrein
yeah well it feels heavier when my boltor darts are stuck in the jackal, but not as heavier as before...
MAL1WAN
I agree for the graphics being heavier. My game got laggy since the last update unlike before. I can't say it's my network connection since I've been playing smoothly before the latest patch.
Volt_Cruelerz
Try double-checking to make sure that Local Reflections is turned off. For me, that reverts to true every patch so I have to manually turn it off again.

Volt_Cruelerz
It defaulted after 6.4 for me... :(
Kse_
I've seen such a slowdown after the prevous patch. The latest one actually improved things a little tiny bit, my guess is LOD was introduced since things look weird from far.
MAL1WAN
Turning the Local Reflections and Dynamic Lighting makes the gameplay more smooth now. But beofore, I had the local reflections and dynamic lighting on and the game runs just as smooth.
