041.Vento Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 As the title, which technique Warframe uses to remove the aliasing?I've done some test with my card (nVIdia Geforce GT 635M) : 1st Test, from 40 to 60 FPS : - in-game AA enabled (default AA of Warframe) - all driver settings : "controlled by application" 2nd Test, from 45 to 70 FPS : - in-game AA disabled (default AA of Warframe) - 32xCSAA (forced by driver)so.... wut? Athros Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) It's because FXAA is applicable to any game, regardless what GPU and/or renderer (D3D/OpenGL) you're using, and it's currently the fastest AA method available as it only relied on shader processing (with a bit overall blur as its disadvantage).
