I know there is few topics about this supreme space sim already. But with release of X-Rebirth, which sucks and feels like unfinished beta with false marketing (advertised features are not ingame yet). I remembered that this gem is still in works and we lack a proper topic about it here. The game has already crowdfunded over $28milions few days back and yesterday we got a message about this from developers. They talk of what the stretch goal means, what will it add to the game and where the money is going, since for many people the actual cost of game development is a mistery. Others who joined already have a Freelancer, the Aruora Legionair and another has the Arbiter so we already have a pretty good team for hauling cargo. Since the realism aspects would require some serious hardware, a grand lot of processing, to almost like a 21st Century mainframe a size of your own bedroom just to play the game on its release. ...
