DarkAcai Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Everytime warframe crashes, i can still ctrl alt del to bring up task manager. HOwever, wheni use end task in applications or end process in process, the game basically stucks there with "threads" dropping to 1, but the memory usage is still ~900mb. Then when i go from start>>shut down, the computer basically gets stuck in logging off screen (10-20min) or a black screen (but computer doesnt turn off). THis forces me to force shutdown and when i start up my computer again, i get hte meessage "computer was not turned off correcly)" any reason why this is happening? specs: 8gb ram nvidia GT 540M intel i7 2760qm 2.4ghz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I believe typing "memory test" in your start menu will locate the correct utility for you, but I would recommend a quick Google search as well. DarkAcai Posted November 21, 2013 Author Share Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) did the memory test and there is no error (says my event viewer log) my settings: full screen, directx 11, bulk download, aggresive download. OFF: 64-bit mode, multi-threaded btw, my windows 7 if 64 bit version also my gfx driver is up to date. Another problem after it crashes, the game freezes and the sound pretty much screws up. I never crash before (i start playing at update 7) and now when im playing some times i have a huge freeze where i can do nothing and enemies too and then the game just close and i have a crash report. Most of time it crash during a survival or defense mission and i loose all my xp and reward. Note: in some game i did the game freeze and then i didn't crash and no freeze after this one and no crash but the most of time it crash. Win8 64-bit I7-3770k@4,4GHz GTX 680 SLI 8GB (1800MHz) I tried to deactivate PhysicX after the second crash. Then Survival, everything went well for 20min and on the way to extraction, my game client just said no.^^ My hardware runs solid as rock, except Warframe now.
