Smoking Gun For Crashes?

I've got a possible lead on what's causing a common crash. I've been experiencing frequent hard crashes for the past month. There are plenty of threads here that all seem to be describing the same issue. I can now reproduce this crash (or at least _a_ crash) at will by uninstalling audio drivers. Hopefully DE will find this helpful. Here are the steps to reproduce:

1) REMOVE ALL AUDIO DRIVERS

2) Load Warframe

3) Pick a planet

4) Change your LFG status (Online, Private, Invite, Solo)

5) -Crash-

==OR==

4) Pick a mission

5) -Crash- (Occurs after zoom in, before diorama loads)

==OR==

3) Click the Options menu

4) -Crash-

==OR==

3) Enter the codex

4) Click an item to display additional information

5) -Crash-

The following do NOT crash Warframe when used without audio drivers:

-Arsenal (any part)

-Inbox

-Foundry

-Market

-Changing LFG status while the full solar system is displayed

-Picking an event mission for Alad where it displays the battlepay. (Accepting = crash)

From comments made by others the problem seems to span both Nvida and ATI graphics cards and both 32 and 64 bit OSes. I'm using a AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5670 video card and running Realtek Audio drivers that are part of the 13-4_xp32_dd_ccc_whql.exe install. I generate no crash logs because my computer is frozen and I have to reboot. BUT... Are we all using Realtek Audio drivers?

Links to similar threads and musings:

It kept psyching me out between an audio or video problem. There never seemed to be anything interesting on the screen when one of these crashes occured. But they often occured with a new sound- like a door opening or someone firing their secondary when they'd been using a primary, etc.

Removing audio drivers should not cause critical crashes. It's just audio. I assumed that Warframe would simply run with no audio at all. Many play with the sound off so we can do other things. I noticed the audio options allows you to pick a specific device or the default device but there is no option for NO audio device. "No device" should be an option if only to make troubleshooting easier. (My gut says something the audio is improperly interacting with the PhysX code. I'm no expert though and I'm just musing outloud.)

Update: Today I can now successfully alt-tab again. It's not quite right though.

Alt-tabing away from Warframe is instant. Alt-Tabing to Warframe takes about 10seconds to switch over. It appears as though it's crashed but if I just wait it will load. Very odd.

If you could answer my question I might be able to help

What is the size of your power supply

What CPU do you have

What Ram do you have, The size of each stick, and the hz

What video card do you have .. the band who made it

What is your screen resolution

Also I am guessing you have updated all your drives .. or better yet uninstall and reinstalled everything also your BIOS

And what it sounds like to me is your power supply is overloaded or your ram is bad "1600hx" ram has this problem alot
