Yareli bug, arbitration excavation

Yareli on merulina, a squad member died. I picked up three arbitration drone yellow glowing orbs to revive. To do this i switch to operator mode and pick it up then switch back to yareli on merulina. Seems easy. I went to revive squad mate. I switched to operator mode to revive and placed a waypoint to indicate for anyone else with revives to come.

At this point I realized I could not do anything. I was stuck in operator mode. 

I tried to use gear wheel, anything ... nothing worked. I then had to extract as operator void slinging the whole tileset to get to the pad.

then, the summary screen shows zero rewards after 14m.
