Rhino

Thoughts on the Rhino? In my quest to find a frame I really enjoy playing I've been considering the Rhino since I like survivabiity. Anything I should know regarding mods and weapons and such? Thanks. My other choice is the Vauban because traps.

Wooo those two are pretty different from each other.  

 

Rhino is in your face, Vauban is prepare well and cackle with glee as the enemy falls to your might!

 

Rhino needs to be reinforced with armor mods and shield boosts etc.

 

Vauban wants a lot of energy and cost cuts.

I find Rhino the best soloing frame for me and generally the most useful skills. Especially in nightmare where the health and or shields nullifier is active (and if you are modded enough you can engage iron skin before the power drain one kicks in at the start of a mission).Roar makes me feel like a team player buffing allies.

 

I find Vauban great in groups where large groups of mobs are rushing you (primarily defense but it works for a lot of others)

 

As stated they are wildly different

I think I'll go with Rhino for now. Best primary weapon for him?

Honestly, I don't know about primary weapon, because I'm working on my Tigris, but I use Kunai for my secondary, and they will shred just about EVERYTHING I fight. Even in Damage 2.0, I'm still doing almost 300 damage to infested before counting in elemental effects. And I have, currently, 160% multishot. And a 5.9 fire rate. They're crazy fast and powerful.

I use gorgon. It just got so much better since U11. But you probably won't get it soon because it's login reward only. The soma is good too. Not sure how it is since U11. Heard rumors of a nerf. O_o

Ogris. Packs a punch. 2.5k Damage in total for me. No potato.
