Control Module Farming Outside The Void

So I have farmed RAPTOR 80 times now and of all of those 80 times, there has never been a control module drop.  Every time it is ether mophics, rubedo or a feldron sample.  Is there some weird drop balance they added to the bosses?  Cause I feel like I am wasting my time trying to get control modules now.

Should I just give up and look for a trade or is there a special method (Exclude Void) to get control modules from bosses?

Best way to do it? Find a Survival in the sector with the rare material you want. 

I guarantee you will find more there than you will killing any boss.
