WupwupTCR Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Basically what Jelly said. Armor helps to defend against damage against your health; it doesn't affect your shields. And by that I mean any non-DoT damage. So don't stand in poison or fire pits and expect to tank that stuff, but against a bullet storm you'll live longer if you're something that isn't Ember or other frames with 10 armor.
