Just an idea for jumping/diving shooting style and sliding

When you jump sideways or backwards and shoot, your character starts to go in a dive, but its a really short time, I was thinking perhaps adding a prone stance as soon as you land on the ground, instead of rolling up on your feet again. Could be more stylish and interesting. Because right now, dive-shooting seems to have a really short time and then you just hit the ground and it ends.

Also sliding doesn't seem to be very easy for me, perhaps its just me. I mean can do it, holding down Shift Key and then holding down Left Ctrl key, I just think there should be a small time gap to press and hold Ctrl key to perform the slide, because if you press it a lil late, you end up slowing down and crouching instead of sliding.

Ok good subject.

First, there are three ways I've seen to enter that gun dive animation.

1: Shoot while jumping.

2: Aim Down Sights while jumping.

3: Press jump while aiming down sights.

During two and three the camera is way to close to the body.

This needs to be tweaked so we can properly see.

Might as well go basically first person during the movement.

Second, it is a very short time.

The roll is good because you can keep going but it gives you very little time to fire off rounds.

Solution is to give us both options.

During the dive If no movement direction in input on the w,a,s,d then the caharcter should hit the ground in a prone position

To get up as soon as we do enter a movement direction.

If there is some movement direction on the w,a,s,d then you would roll as usual.

So you choose between contninued fast movement or a bit of time more to aim and lower profile.

This gives us the best of both worlds.

its tactical and fun!

BTW-Thank you DE for giving me soooo mant moves to play with.

I can't tell you how board I was getting with shooters static movements.
