Switching to Drifter instead of Operator in Duviri Circuit, resulting in slow fall, bugged UI, and inability to use melee

I chose to continue at the end of a mission in the Duviri Circuit and while the 5 second countdown to go to the next mission started, I tried switching to my Operator to void sling to a decree fragment before the timer ran out. Rather than switching to my operator, it instead switched to my Drifter and I fell off the map. Upon going into the next mission, I stayed in drifter form and whenever I was in the air, I fell slowly with a bugged and clunky falling animation. I switched back into my Warframe and was able to shoot and use abilities, but the Drifter UI was still up so I could not see my Shield, Energy, or Overguard, and my melee weapon could no longer swing.

 

The mission I was in when I switched to the Drifter instead of Operator was the Jackal Assassination mission, and the mission I loaded into next where I had the slow fall, bugged UI, and melee issue was a Defense mission.
