Various Performance Bugs (Physx: Mod Fusion, Valkyr)

So I've been playing with Valkyr (got her to 30!) and I noticed some rather intense performance issues.

With just using Warcry and all the PhysX particles that go with it, my fps drops by about 20.

Terminus (Mercury) to test::

Stable ~70 fps here

Warcry dipped to low 40fps (screenie was taken prematurely but you can see all of the particles):

Taken to an extreme case while standing inside a Vortex filled with mobs and such while under Hysteria:

This is a bit silly and I feel there is some code that could be made a bit more sleek.

Next issue fusing mods:

Lets say I want to rank up Fired Up:

This is a thoroughly reasonable 80+ fps

But lemme fuse that with some cores and watch those particles drag everything down:

47 fps.  Sometimes this has odd issues and is VERY laggy to the point it is ~0.75 seconds to click on a mod.  A bit much.

Repeatedly jump attacking the ground (puts out particles) can show the performance hit due to physics calculations:

System specs:

i7-2620M

16GB RAM @ 1333

GTX 660 Ti @ x1.2Opt

Intel 520 60GB boot drive

HGST 1TB 7200RPM 32MB data drive (where Warframe is located)

Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64

And since I know someone is gonna mention the fact I have a mobile CPU and a desktop GPU::

Yeah I have a reasonably good machine & last night while doing a T3 Def mission I experienced a performance drop like I have never had b4 in ANY game.

Basically one of the other players had created one of those Vortex things close to the front of the area around the POD & the minute the mobs started getting caught up in it my FPS went from approx 70 to 4.(FOUR)FPS.

Even playing EVE Online on high settings in the middle of a 800 person battle my FPS is better than that so here's asking that something be done to fix the issue, cause it's stuff like that which will make people seek other games to play.

Also seems that overall since U11 LAG has made a HUGE come back, it is now more common to get into games with heaps of LAG than it is to have a game without it & it isn't just me that has noticed this.

So what can we do?

Framerate dropping with physx is normal

Certainly, but not this dramatic of a drop with a fairly simple skill.  20 fps drop from Warcry is a bit excessive.  If it was under 5-10 I wouldn't have even posted anddd (below)

This.  Vortex must have a very accurate guestimate of 2.7 bajillion particles / calculations since the lag from it is insane.  Now I can play BL2 with PhysX and everything thing else maxed and have a negligible performance hit while kicking a small mound of PhysX rocks around (by shooting ground). Or have sparks flying everywhere.  Still runs quite silky.

Something is going wrong here in Warframe.  Doesn't appear to be a memory leak, I stay stable around 920MB of RAM usage for Warframe.  But the CPU is going like mad whenever physics has to be calculated.  Some optimization has to be done.
