Cannot Pickup Data Mass (Not Sure If Posted Already Or Not)

Sometimes, when in the mission mode Spy, I sometimes come across a situation where I cannot pick up the many data masses, and when I drop the data mass(es) (if im holding any), I cannot pick that up either. However, in a certain amount of time later, I would be able to pick both data masses up - normally after a short period of time. Note that they are also in reach.
