Buddlschlumpf
Right now, all warframes require the same materials which does not only require one to farm the same planet over and over again but also makes the warframes feel less different. I would suggest to require different materials for each warframe, so that the blueprints drop on planet 1 while you have to get material A from Planet 2, material B from planet 3 and so on. Given the fact, that we have eleven planets and up to 12 materials per warframe (if we count out control moduls and neural sensors, we are down to 10), you could extend this, that e.g. Excalibur needs materials from planets 1 2 4 6 9 and 11, while Ember needs materials from 3 5 7 8 and 10 and lets say Rhino materials from planets 1 6 7 8 10. This way, to actually acquire new warframes, you would have to explore the entire solar system. Additionally, that would allow certain warframes to be made easier accessible by having their materials drop in lower level planets. E.g. one could put volt loki and excalibur and their materials in low level planets while the other warframes require ressources found on more difficult planets. NumberFiveee
yea.. but.. you have to see... that those are the uncommon materials.. so it's only normal that warframe would use those + rare materials, otherwise it would be too simple.. because we all have tons and tons of common materials.. CrystalRibbon
I agree with this! It could make all the planets valuable for thier resources like each planet gives blueprints of different warframes and you will see each boss level are not always empty. And we could add that some warframes require more specific matrials than the other fits on how they look.. Ex. A Rhino would require more Alloy and Salvage than any other warframe, or more Nano spores for the coming Saryn warframe. This would make each of them more engaging and interesting to build :
Buddlschlumpf
yea.. but.. you have to see... that those are the uncommon materials.. so it's only normal that warframe would use those + rare materials, otherwise it would be too simple.. because we all have tons and tons of common materials.. Why are they uncommon? Because they drop in rare quantities and you need lots of them. There is no problem in e.g. requiring 10k nano spores for a warframe part. Or 8k salvage. This would make other materials "rare" as well. Because though the price is listed as "materials required" it's actually "hours played in average to acquire the materials". Thus you can adjust the amount of materials required to equal an average amount of hours played.
