When a weapon is forma'd 5(number subject to change) times and leveled to 30 again, a new mod slot unlocks for that weapon.

 

If a person likes a weapon enough to forma it 5 times, there should be another reward at the end.

I think all of my weapons would have another mod slot on then :3

For me, I'd just be happy if there was some sort of glowy thing, or a gold plated style skin (Not Prime) just to have on it for every forma I'd added; my MK1 Braton would look amazing with eight of them on it!

Polarity is the reward. We don't need power creep. If people need more than the ability to put eight maxed out mods in a weapon let it be flexibility, like being able to put two polarity on the same slot or cosmetic like being able to make it metallic or something. Not another slot or a damage bonus or any of that.

no, this would increase the already great disparity between a standard weapon and someone who has the time for forma it 5+ times. there shouldnt be too much of a gap between a weapon without forma and one with 5+.

 

besides, people already complain about game being "too easy" cuz they have formaed stuff, whereas people who dont have formaed stuff complain it's too hard. no need to widen that gap further. also, how do you balance the game when the difference is so great.

Why 5? Why not 8 because it's the number of mod slots one weapon has. Some rifle builds might already require 6 formas so 5 formas for prestige makes no sense, in my opinion.
