U7 Screwed Me Over, Here's My Suggestion On Doing It Right

So, I'm sure i'm not the only one who got destroyed by update 7. All of my level 30 gear is now worth less than nothing, the fusion costs are absurd, and i went from farming Earth and Neptune to barely getting by Mercury. Loot dependence on stat increase is also absurd and is so much worse than "filler nodes". For me, it seems that U7 was an absolute "F YOU" to all solo players especially, and quite frankly I think i'm gonna quit. But before that, I'd like to give a little constructive suggestion on how I think the upgrade system should be done right.

Instead of an upgrade tree, give each stat a seperate upgrade "bar". Every time a weapon or warframe is leveled up, the player will get a skill point for that piece of gear that they can freely place into one of their stats. Each stat also has a maximum level of about 5 to prevent someone from getting, like, +30 levels in health or gun damage or something. This can allow players to freely choose what stats they want to upgrade without having to deal with "filler nodes".

There would be no mod slots. Mods would be replaced by the current new card system, but the fusion cost of upgrading cards should decrease drastically. I should not have to spend more money to level up a skill once than to buy a new friggin' weapon, especially since mods don't sell for anything half decent any more. Also, the cards will specialise in giving "special" traits instead of directly increasing stats like health or fire rate. Cards should give things not included in your normal skill leveling system such as giving elemental damage, enemy radar, multishot, sprint bonus, puncture etc.

As for supercharging, i came up with two options. Either lock the max level of each stat for non-supercharged gear to 3 instead of 5, as well as cap mod energy capacity to 30 instead of 60; or lock usable skill points to 15 instead of 30, as well as cap the mod energy capacity.

Now i know that my posts have never really been read/cared about by the playerbase and especially not the devs, but I'd like to say this to the dev team if you ever read this:

Thanks for the great game that you had provided me with, at least up to this point. Sure I've had many complaints, especially about enemy and boss behaviour, but Warframe has still been a very unique experience for me and I enjoyed it a lot. Maybe I just have bad taste for not liking the new upgrade system, but that's how i feel, and right now is an extremely busy and stressful time in my life, and i simply cannot afford to farm Mercury again from scratch right now. Hopefully the new issues will be addressed, and I hope to see this game a success. Bye, hopefully for now.

Best regards,

I don't think I feel as strongly as you about dissappointment. I like where this update is putting the mod system, but yeah I'm frustrated by how nerfed I feel. All those fusion cores are useless to me because I used to spend all my money on weapons and in the foundry. Now I have a bunch of fusion cores with no money to use them, and high leveled equipment/frames that are weaker than when I started playing. It doesn't feel good.
