SIDESTRE4M
So, decreasing its firerate would be a possible solution too, I guess. Regarding the limitations, I hope we can at least agree, that they are not as flexible as a normal rifle. The other points... I already accepted, that people rate certain things different based on their beliefs and expierience, so I won't go over the limitations any more, because everytime it ends up with either side not validating the arguments of each other, because of that. LazyKnight
-Snipe- I accept the validity of your points that Penta and Ogris have rather steep limitation that hinder their use as normal weapons. I am not arguing against your point that ogris is annoying to use in non-defense or a map that has a perch that allows bombardment from safe ranges. NikolaiLev
No it is not. You never fall below 500 (or even 520) Rockets with the Ogris because the problem isn't ammo capacity; but the fact that you get 20 Rockets per ammo pickup. That is a much more pressing issue. How common rifle ammo is and the fact you get 20 rockets is a big deal. Sniper ammo will at least mitigate the problem by a large amount. I'd still like to see you only getting 5 or even 2 rockets per pickup. So, decreasing its firerate would be a possible solution too, I guess. It's about 10% less flexible while being 100% more powerful due to being ammo efficient, having excellent burst damage and having innate AoE. Self-damage is a drawback, it's just not enough of a drawback. By the way, this all applies to the Torid as well, which has no self-damage. Brimir
The Torid is quite the opposite: it is so bad that not even infinite ammo makes up for it.
