SquashSkin
Hi there. With Update 11.8 a really strange thing has been occuring for me. Im not sure why but Warframe has been eating up A LOT more resources on my computer than previously. I will describe what happens: It starts with waves of frame rate slowdown which eventually rights itself after a few moments, then several seconds, then around 30 seconds, then upwards of a minute, then warframe will crash, and my computer will overheat. I opened up my resource monitor during a few of these periods to see my CPU activity was extremely high, much higher than in previous times while playing. I have tried lowering the graphics, (I normally play on medium) and turn off all the extras, including shadows and lighting, but it still doesnt make any difference and will behave exactly the same. Any ideas?

SquashSkin
Tried reinstalling warframe? Updating all your drivers? Yes I did this earlier. No change I'm afraid.
FritztheChef
I've been having similar problems since the last update. No problems previously.
BrainInvader
I think I might have a solution for you: When in the launcher of Warframe, I recommend disabling Multi-Threaded Rendering, 64-bit mode and DirextX11 and see if that fixes it for you. Hope this helps! Edited January 25, 2014 by BrainInvader

FritztheChef
I tried that fix and it works while in game. Now I get random crashes while in the menu...
