Tethra's Doom / Fomorian Shipyard Suggestion: Corruptors?

Back when we were first introduced to the Fomorians, the Lotus could think of only one viable solution for disabling these Grineer Super-Destroyers: Infested Corruptors. Sneaking onto Grineer Fomorians with their nanocyte payloads, Tenno agents littered the Origin System with the shattered husks of their enemies' vessels. Since that time the Infested have gone into hiding and the Grineer have taken to producing an even greater number of Fomorians with the intent of drowning all resistance in their numbers. Tenno are on the move to locate the Grineer's shipyards and scuttle their Cores in either open space or the Void.

However, one question remains unasked: What of the leftover Corruptors?

Many Tenno are still holding onto Corruptors from the previous Fomorian event. Many more sold them to the highest bidders on the market, no doubt willing to sell back these sealed containers of Infested information and material at a profit. Despite this, though, we cannot use them in any fashion with this event (despite our targets, in the end, being the same: The Power Cores for developing Fomorians!).

Would it be possible to implement an option within the mission wherein players - instead of escorting the reactor towards extraction - sabotage the Reactor with Infestors in a manner akin to a mix of Operation Sling-Stone and the Cicero Crisis? For fairness and balance's sake Corruptor-completed missions would not offer quite as many points as are possible in the Hijack-mode (meaning they would probably be capped somewhere between 500 and 800 points when using all three at once), but this would give the mission both some non-score replayability and allow for some thematic notes after the event.

Alternatively, to truly cripple the Grineer's Fomorian efforts, might there be a second mission type wherein you try using the Corruptors directly within the facility itself to grind production to a halt as Grineer race to undo the damage before it's too late? Whether as some form of a Mobile Defense, Interception, Defense, or even a blend of the above, it would be interesting to see some Tenno working at sabotaging the facility itself (explaining the relatively light security in relation to any one Reactor) while others work to scuttle as many of the still-functional Power Cores as they can. Now instead of simply increasing the Grineer's production quota and leaving their ships sitting in the yards slightly longer, the Tenno are also forcing them to run through their facilities with a fine comb to ensure that no Corruptor taint remains within (for both the sake of the Fomorions the Cores will be implanted within and the facility itself so that there isn't an Infested outbreak on Earth).

If there are concerns about the rarity of Corruptors as of the current date, a simple Blueprint could be added to the market for each of these Corruptors along the lines of "Mutagen Sample (0 / 5), Plastids (0 / 200), Nanospores (0 / 1000)" (or any other number and material component that's thematically sound), with some exotic material thrown in for Alpha and Beta Corruptors (ex: Trace amounts of Oxium, Neurodes, extracts from Earth, Anti-Toxins, Detonite and / or Fieldrons, and so-on).

Does this sound like a viable idea for anyone else? Please keep in mind that the suggestion is intended to be fairly simple and predominantly rely on pre-existing components (so as to avoid stressing DE out if they do consider it, as "BTW you can instead turn the Core's starting point into a static defensive position before making a fighting retreat towards Extraction" or "Make one of the big doohickeys inside the big Shipyard rooms prior to Extraction a Defensive objective" is much easier than "Make a new mega-room on the tileset for Shipyard Mobile Defense!" or the like) while also giving a nod back to those who took part in the last Fomorion sabotage event.

This could work.

But what would the reward for this be?

It'll be harder then the standard, so you'd need different rewards, or noone would do it

Well, since - if this were to be implemented - it would only be done a few days before the event's completion, and no doubt after the Weekend (which is when most people will have time to take part in said event), an exclusive reward would be a bit unfair. My initial thought was - if it does have a stacking prize - a bonus to your final score.

And an even more simplified suggestion of what's in the OP: Take some of the consoles in the facility before the Core's room. Randomly pick three of 'em and allow for players to put a Corruptor (of any variety) in them. Said consoles temporarily become an objective (either in the Mobile Defense or Interception fashion, if MD one at a time and if a single-wave Interception with all three consoles a minute after the first Corruptor is put in). Stable Corruptors give 50 points each, Alpha / Beta 25 points each if on their own, 75 each if combined (for a theoretical max of +200, in other words). After completing the Interception / Mobile Defense, the mission continues as normal. These points are added to your final score (assuming a successful run). Thus while they don't provide any additional rewards in and of themselves they could potentially allow a few more points for Solo runs (bake a Stable Corruptor, man the Interception / Mobile Defense, need 50 less points from the Reactor now), and for Clans increase their potential high score (most great runs are around 790-810 points, so in this case an optimal run would net around ~1000 points instead of ~800).

Alternative suggestions in here are more than welcome, I'm just trying to drum up support to use Corruptors in this event while there's both:

1) A very good thematic excuse to do so.

2) Enough time that DE could try such an implementation if they appreciated the idea.
