AKoverlord
After the initial tutorial, new players are just dropped into the star chart with no real idea of what's going on. A simple solution to this is to give players a "mission" when they first select a world, a 30 second video of the lotus explaining why we are on mars or earth. This could also be used to bring back old events that people have miss by, for example, make the mission of Eurpoa to find the source of the fusion MOAs flooding out of the snowy bases, it would give noobies a feeling of why they are deployed there, and for those who missed the fusion MOA event, a taste of the hunt. This could also be done for the more complex events like arid fear, making Phobos hidden until the players find the two corpus void key components from hyena & raptor. For those who are worried about the impending star chart removal, the 30 second intro videos could be easily translated to work with the Tenno hubs, if not make the transition easiest as well Opinions? AKoverlord
They said they wanted late players to get a bit of the old events, this is an idea of how to get the old events in and give a purpose to clearing planet nodes
Yezzik
I'd like this, especially if the rewards came back. For example, you reach Mars and suddenly you're at the point in the story where the Gradivus Dilemma takes place. You can move on if you want, stay and farm all the missions for the toys before moving on, or dipped back in now and again to do one or two runs at a time.
