Exp From Multiplayer Matchs

I have been playing Warframe for a great amount of time now but it was mostly soloing. There was something I always wondered about EXP on multiplayer matchs. If someone kills an enemy, does that EXP goes only to your current equipped weapon and warframe, or does it work for everything you have equipped for that match?
