High Priority Missions

TL;DR

You should be ashamed of yourself.

These are missions aimed at high-level players with a very high difficulty and new Nightmare & Corrupted Mods. The default reward is a nightmare mod, but if dragon keys are brought then it will convert into a corrupted mod. These missions usually include a harder boss battle, and sometimes contain multiple objectives (i.e. Assassination and Defense)

The High Priority missions are new multiple-objective missions which require new craftable High Priority Coordinates to access. Blueprints for these coordinates can only be purchased from the Market at Mastery Rank 10, so only the most experienced players can access them. There is one for each planet in the Solar System, and each one is unique.

Mercury:

Lore:

Lotus: My scanners indicate that there is an Orokin ship floating around Mercury. Instead of crumbling into disrepair like the derelicts, it is unusually well-preserved for a ship outside the Void. Captain Vor has realised that this means there is extremely powerful Orokin technology on board the ship. His troops have already stationed there. You will need to find the technology before Vor does, and eliminate him. Be warned Tenno, this is an extremely dangerous mission.

Mission:

Unlike most of the High Priority missions, this one has only one main objective, however the level is unlike anything in the current game. The squad will have to sneak or fight their way through the Orokin ship, which will not have any Corrupted enemies, but Grineer instead. The troops encountered will be similar to those found on Earth, except coloured like normal Grineer militia and much higher level. The enemies include Helions due to the wide open spaces in Orokin derelicts. Orokin traps are deactivated, however they will still have the same properties with Prime warframes.

After making their way through the ship, the squad will encounter Vor in a large, circular arena with pillars for cover and balconies for Vor to teleport to. After defeating Vor, a door will open at the back into a restored version of the Orokin Vaults, however the mod with have a glowing sigil of one of the Dragon Keys. If a member of the party with the corresponding key activates the pedestal, the reward will change from a nightmare mod to a corrupted mod. Then, the squad has to get to extraction while being attacked by indefinitely spawning Grineer.

Vor Battle:

Phase 1:

Vor is heavily upgraded from his normal form (although he loses all shields), and can now block most attacks with his Cronus (Essentially, he has Parry, Reflection and Reflex Guard fully ranked.) When not being fired at, (shooting at him is risky because he reflects all projectiles, including grenades and rockets, back at you when blocking) he shoots you with his upgraded Seer (higher fire rate and damage). The only way to damage him is to use a heavy melee attack, which will stagger him for 2 seconds or so, during which he is unable to attack or block. If he is not damaged sufficiently during that time, he will teleport away and resume his normal attacks. This happens until he is damaged enough to enter Phase 2.

Phase 2:

Vor enters his protection bubble, and spawns 8 Elite Lancers and 2 Helions around it. After 5 seconds he will exit the bubble and begin throwing the electric mines. He can now have up to 5 mines out in the arena at a time. The mines can also latch onto players now, and attack other nearby players while slowly draining health from the attached player. Now, the only way to attack him is to get close enough to him so that he melee attacks you, then block the attack. This will stagger him like before, allowing you to attack him. When he is damaged enough, he enters Phase 3.

Phase 3:

He enters his bubble again, and spawns 2 Heavy Gunners, a Bombard, and a Napalm. After 5 seconds, he begins using the Orokin Laser. The method of defeating him differs with multiple players and one player.

Online: If the laser is blocked by one player, then the other players can attack Vor. While this may seem simple, Vor will switch targets frequently and enemies will spawn and attack the blocker.

Solo: The player blocks the laser and can reflect it back at Vor. This will slowly drain Vor's health. This is complicated by the player's stamina running out and by enemies attacking the player.

Once Vor's health disappears, he will die and drop his normal boss drops, and the door to the mods will open.
