After a window blows out on survival the console can then be hacked again and the message for 'alarms reset' is given to the player. We set off the alarm in the first place on purpose! Imagine how terified you would be if an alarm was constantly sounding and you could hear the constant screams of your allies through the comms system. And then complete silence.
