How To Use Powers?

After the tutorial, I chose the Loki Warframe because of the cool powers, but I am not able to use them in my missions? I've done a few missions, but it's real boring without the powers. Whenever I click 1, 2, 3, or 4, it says "Power not unlocked". I'm confused; how do I unlock them so I can use them?

Level it up. When you do that, click the glowing wrench. Add a power.

Go into your mods ( the little rench below your frame's info on the arsenal screen) then if your frame level is high enough you can equiped them like mods.

I've equipped a mod (invisibility) on a level 4 Loki by dragging and dropping the card on the warframe... When in a game, it still tells me that the power still hasn't been unlocked... Do you need to be higher than level 4 to use invisibility? I'm also curious to find out if anyone else out there is using an xbox controller to play this game. Do I need to use keyboard to use power? Or can I use LB on the controller to activate the power? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
