Reconnecting To Missions Without Loosing Progress

It's happened to all of us, you made it really far in a good group, and tada, you drop, all that time and effort wasted.

 

Why can't the game just save your progress? Either locally or on the host, and allow you back into missions if you were there previously even if it's after the normal invite lock-out so you can re-join your friends and keep going.

 

An option to pause the game until they're back would also be nice, with a vote to resume, MOBA style.

if that happened, it would cut down on the number of complaints people could make....how would DE get there laughs?

People have been asking for this literally since the time losing pickups for not completing missions was introduced. It's ridiculous that it still hasn't been addressed, especially in a game this unstable.
