DjaAkh
Hi guys, My problem with end-game mechanics in online games is, that most likely it gets boring after some time, if the opposition is AI. After some time, you know what the AI does and there is nothing new anymore. If the opposition is given by other players, the game can be fun over a long time, even if the content is not that huge (as in DotA or LoL). As being discussed here in the forum in full detail, tenno vs tenno PvP does not really make tooo much sense. But how about some L4D-style PvP? One possible scenario: The tenno take over an orokin tower, by hacking the neural sentry. They now control all the corrupted inside the tower. Now, this poses a nice opportunity for training and "championships". One team tries to accomplish a mission in the tower, while the other team takes over corrupted bosses. After the tenno accomplish the mission (or fail!), sides swap and now the former corrupted player have to ninja their way through the tower. The match ends after two rounds (both teams having played one round as corrupted and one round as tenno) and the winner is, who made it through fasters with taking the least amound of damage. That would be PvP (with the benefit of being always a bit different everytime you play), but without having to struggle with balancing the tenno powers against each other and having the odd scenario, where tenno actually kill tenno (uum... the corrupted of course use stun weapons! ;) ). Blackout751
I'd love to play this - being the enemy at one point sounds pretty awesome and the challenge from other players can't be put down as always easy. Tenno vs. Tenno is hard - but Tenno vs. the Corrupted being played by Tenno is harder.
