Well yes and no. In order for frost and ember to have a a powerful ultimate they need range and strength and for Ember, vauban or zephyr duration is benificial! IMHO her skill is fine. By the fact that enemies explode and chain a room makes it boring. If i had to go around killing them one by one or even having a team mate rhino stop or w.e. (TEAMWORK!!! something this game lacks) then id be all for it! Make it debuff them 200% and slow by 50% but each one is killed individually and the kills DON'T COUNT for nova then id be fine! She already has a skill that does 100k if you put effort into learning it she doesn't need a cheaper one.

 

Edit: Also think about future content. The focus system takes lvl 30 warframes and redirects experience to the frame itself and puts it into the focus item. Well that means all nova needs to do and press four let her team mates kill one enemy and all that exp goes to the focus item. Its the cheapest way to power level a brand new concept that isnt even out yet!
