The66Monkey
Computer: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor (4 CPUs) ~3.4GHz Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit Memory: 16GB RAM DirectX 11 I use CCleaner to keep my registry clean, i have a main partition(first partition) that i run OS and games from approximately 500GB have about 70GB free. it's about 2% fragmented. Graphics Card: (Details: http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardware/Reviews/xfx_r7790/ ) AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (it's a XFX R7790) 1024MB RAM Used to run CCC 13.12 now 14.4. Here are some screencaps i took in one of the most intence easible accesible areas i could find, i know that the fps indicator is not 100% reliable but it matched the experience well. Multi -threaded rendering was enabled during the whole time. When i had DX11 i ran about 10-18 fps, when i had DX9 i ran between 30-50. Here is DX11 at minimum settings Here is DX9 with max settings Edited April 29, 2014 by The66Monkey
PenutReaper
Any chance this is a graphics driver issue? At first glance you should be getting more than you are for both DX11 and DX9.
The66Monkey
have all the CCC sliders pulled to performance settings but most things are left to the application. I have tried maxing Graphics OverDrive but that caused Warframe to crash.
PenutReaper
When did you last update your graphics card driver? Are you using a Beta driver?
TheGHOSTyA
There is definately something wrong your pc should be getting 60 at dx9 And 40 at dx11
The66Monkey
i'm running the most up-to-date graphics drive that is not beta. I have managed to get 40 on DX11 by looking at the floor but the second the sky or an enemy is in view the frame rate falls to around 10-18. I have tried clean instals on the graphics driver, BIOS update, reg cleaning, defraging (built-in and 3rd party), system cleaning, 3rd party bloatware (like razer game booster).Other games like Alien vs Predator runs fine on max settings with DX11. PenutReaper
Open task manager and see how many processes are running. Try running some anti virus and malware software.
