Aegis, on the other hand, is a much more classy bunch.

Aegis is a gaming community; this means we are not restricted to any one game. Our members spend nearly all of their time interacting with one another in-game or on our voice server. We have existed as a group for three years now, and have spanned many games including (but not limited to) City of Heroes, Guild Wars 2, Champions Online and Firefall.

 

Now, that the boring history stuff is out of the way, I can bombard you with all the self-aggrandizing narcissism you can handle (and probably more).

 

We are known by the communities with which we interact as being an extremely open, laid-back and humor-oriented group. We're looking for a good time, regardless of how we get it. If we have to club some baby animals, we're down for that. We've got members dedicated to the task of sharpening our clubs (and then subsequently blunting them again, because they're clubs, not swords. Sharp clubs are just silly.)

 

Our method of gaining members in-game usually consists of ridiculous advertisements listing all of the many and varied reasons why joining us would be a good idea. For instance:

 

Side-effects of joining Aegis may include but are not limited to: Uncontrollable giggling, increased physical attractiveness, animal magnetism and diarrhea.

 

Heavy re-hydration is recommended.

 

We've got all the trappings of one of those big-boy groups. A sexy website, a Ventrilo server, and prostitutes.

 

If you're looking for a group that's not concerned with maintaining a PG rating and is concerned with having fun, we might just be the Army for you.

 

If you hate fun, can't take any language more mature than Stuart Little and are afraid of a little syphilis, you'd be better served giving us a miss.
