Randomly Kicked From My Game

I searched for a thread about this/answers to this but I couldn't find any so I figured I'd ask you guys.

This has only started happening since the second latest hotfix (the one before Mire). I'll be in the menus (Arsenal, galaxy map, etc.) and I'll randomly get a message that says "Could not connect to server. You will be logged out." and the game logs me out. Then for a few times after I try to re-login, I'll get the "Could not connect to server" error.

Any idea on why this is happening? Is it a bug or is my machine just being dum?

same thing is happening to me buddy im thinking its a bug due to the fact that all my other games run fine connections and all..

The problem is on the server end. There's something screwy with heavy database traffic. Confirmed by devs, but they couldn't fix it before they had to go catch some sleep on Friday night their time.

A lot of us are speculating that this may be related to hack attempts on the game that the devs posted about earlier.
