Framerate From 300 To 10 With New Patch.

WTSF.

 

Trying to do alert for an orokin cell, before patch, 300+ frames without vsync @ 1920x1080 with all settings maxxed out.

 

Now, 10fps with 100ms draw time with settings on min.

 

7970 Ghz

i7 965 Extreme Edition

12gb DDR3

MSI Big Bang Xpower

corsair AX1500i

 

All drivers up to date, running 14.6 beta Catalyst.

 

Everything under water, temps never above 31c.

 

Verified download cache and defraged download cache.

 

Gonna try rolling back to the 14.4 drivers, but will then loose performance in Watchdogs.

 

If not, will try re-installing the game.

Watch dogs is apparently bad at the optimization part...

like the big ubisoft aaa games that came out

But anyway, when that happens, try restarting your pc. It's what I do, and it fixes it self.

Well just restarted and tried running a different mission since I missed the alert.

 

Buttery smooth again until Lotus popped up, the second she appered my display driver crashed...

 

Rolling back to 14.4 now.

 

Deaths.Reap3r, completely agree, Ubi has never had an optimized AAA release haha.

well, rolled back to 14.4, launched the game, went to solo mode and went to the first mission, clicked play now and it froze.

 

Uninstalling and re-installing now : /

well ran 2 maps now since uninstalling and re-installing, seems to have cleared up a good bit
