I'm willing to bet they already have a long list worth of things they are either working on or plan to revisit in the future. It takes time to make so many large changes while scrambling to introduce enough new content. The balancing act between focusing on the new and the old must be a pain; Have to keep pumping out new content in order to keep enough money rolling in to make sure everyone gets paid, while working on enough of the old problems that players don't get so fed up with them that they leave the game.
