Friends Being Forever Offline

Hey, I've been trying to play with a friend of mine but he is permanently and forever showing up offline. We've tried various methods to fix this like changing regions, ports etc but nothing at all helps. I have two more friends with whom I do not have such issue at all so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions what I/we could do to fix this? And no logging out and back in does not work.

Did you try Options > Analyze Network? What did it say?

That's pretty strange... I'm not really in a position to answer you but maybe when a DE staff replies, they may be able to help you.

Bah, having the same issue with another friend.. The fun part is, we can PM each other even if it says he's offline and we can join another friends game and both of us see each other just fine in that game. Sadly that didn't trigger anything and he still shows up offline..
