Loki Ult Breaking Shields

When using Radial Disarm on Grineer Shield Lancers, the shields they use disappear. I don't know if it's intended, but if it is, it makes no sense. Powerfists and Flameblades don't lose their melee weapons.

Its been this way for a long time, so there's a high chance its intentional

oh oh his shield started malfunctioning, it has turned into a strong metal plate which protects from bullets, and is able to troll rushers, it's useless now I'll just have to throw it away.

 

(on a slighty more serious note, his viper would jam, and he would have to use prod and board action, and that will be a lot of effort, for giving this character an unique, and complex reaction/ ai/ animation set to a specific ability for a low health enemy. (which will not shield bash anmore since it conflicts with his melee, and he will not only shield bash you, because if multiple shield lancers are left , nothing else, and they would just start bashing you over the map, but don't do any damage, just ragdoll you, till the moment you ragequit, won't be that great either)
