Small Question About Slash Dash

I was wondering what affects the damage of Slash Dash. Is it based on weapon damage? Frame rank? And if it is weapon damage, does the melee damage mods increase slash dash damage. And does the "hitbox" of the slash dash increase/decrease with what weapon you use(i.e. does it have smaller hitbox with dagger over scindo)?

Slash dash is an ability mod.

You can increase the power not by weapons or the frame itself, but by increasing the rank of the ability mod.

You can hold your mouse over the mod card ( only on ability mods ) and see what it increases in the ability.

Slash dash gets more damage and range.

And then there is mod cards that you can put on your frame that would increase abilities power, where the "power strength" and "power range" would effect the ability itself, and "power effeciency" would decrease it's cost in power

I don't think any abilities can crit, only if it would be abilities that would increase damage of a weapon, like Saryn's 3rd, which i can't remember the name of, but i am not sure about that one.
