So, Which Is Better?

On my two forma synapse, I have room for either one more element or split chamber. Should I go with the guaranteed 90% damage added, or go with the 90% percent chance to do double damage essentially?

EDIT: I have a forma building now, will be done in a few hrs. Only need to know for the next few hours lol. Gonna forma it again.

split chamber defenitely

its like using a cirt mod on soma it only has 75 percent chance but we use it because of the huge damage mulitplier

plus having two shots have a far greater damage 90 percent is huge

Split Chamber is better overall.

Elementals, especially singles, are situational. 

 

 90% damage versus a 90% chance to do 100% more damage.

100% chance to do +90% damage and 90% chance to do +100% damage work out to the same dps on average. Split chamber is probably the better choice.
