.) Use your starter plat for inventory slots and nothing but inventory slots. Buy one Warframe slot and 4 Weapons slots. Everything else in the game is obtainable for free.

.) Level all your starter gear to 30 then sell them for better weapons. They're garbage.

.) Make a goal. Come up with a Warframe/some weapons you want to achieve and work to get them. Blind newbies without purpose often quit.

.) Everything in the game is obtainable for free. Most weapons/Warframes can be crafted with resources found on various planets. Blueprints are required to craft most items and can be found in the Market for credits. Warframe components are found on their respective bosses that drop them.

.) Don't hesitate to go to http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki to look up anything you're unsure about. Seriously, it's all there.

.) Leveling up gear does not increase "stats". As you play the game you will pick up items called "Mods". These mod cards can be installed on their appropriate gear to increase stats. Think of mod cards as "gear" or "armor" you would typically equip an MMO character with to increase stats. Warframes have their own mods, as do weapons.

.) Come to the forums or ask Region chat once in a while for quick advice.
