Azzarain
On Survival missions with outdoor environments such as Earth, Pluto, etc, the enemy factions can literally turn off the air. This seems more than a little bit odd, which is why it would help the immersion factor for these areas if they were changed. For example, instead of draining air, the enemies could pump poison gas (which life support would dissipate) or orbital fleets could be locking on to your location for an aerial bombardment (life support would disrupt their lock). Changes like this would make it feel less bizarre on the forest / ice tilesets.
Rajko
+1. But, this is probably slated for Realism/Immersion/Lore 2.0.
BurntKitten
Agree this really makes no sense that the life support can be turned off for the entire planet.
Sarge111
SOunds good, maybe on aerial bombardment, it could be a program that damages the tracking mechaninc on their ship, and on the poison, maybe fresh air filters for your gas mask?
Omegaboot
Think we've got room to diversify Survival? air for ships and stations, but maybe, uh... "ship" style maps that are actually underwater bases, for the water-supporting planets? the other planets, obviously the air is held in by force fields. MrMulticulturalism
"Commander, there's a Tenno running amok around our base in the Eurasia region, what do we do!?" "It's simple, little Grinny: WE TURN OFF ALL THE TREES!" Yeah, I've always found it to be a little ridiculous...
