I only have the first point into each of those so I'm wondering if the boosts make that big a difference on those 2 skills. I uses them in a group of mobs and barly half their hp was gone. It seemed pretty pricy in energy for a skill that won't finish off normal enemies. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If they were armored targets, then you won't do as much damage as Embers attacks are most effective against lightly armored targets. Plus, it's meant for crowd control more than straight up nuking (that'd be Volt). But, yes, leveling up the abilities does make them significantly more effective/powerful.
