Supercharging Weps And Mod Capabilities

So i read on the wiki that if I super charge a wepon or warframe and it levels, i get 2 levels for mods, instead of 1. If its already lvl 30, and i supercharge it, does it auto double it to 60 or stay at 30?

It doubles to 60 if you have a level 30 weapon. it only doubles your mod energy.

ok. so just to make sure, cause i would read that wrong, i have a lvl 30 rifle. it is not super charged. it can hold 30 mods. I super charge it with the orokin reactor or w/e it is. now i can put 60 mods on it. correct? just making sure XD

Other thing about supercharging. If I supercharge a weapon/warftame and sell it later on in the game will I get the reactor/catalyst/platinium spent for those back or is it lost alongside the sold item?
