rhoenix
One can already raise the level of a Mod, and that's good. However, my idea would take this a step further. With certain Mods, once they reach maximum level, you would be able to fuse them into a new mod that would effectively combine their power. For instance - taking the lightning, ice, and fire mods for a melee weapon once they're at max level, and combining them into an elemental storm mod that adds a bonus percentage to all three elements at once, increasing with level. Or, combining the Armor Piercing and Multishot Mods, and combining them into a Shredder mod that would do both, also increasing with level. As more Mods are introduced, so too would Mod combinations similar to the above, if implemented - thus giving another point of depth to gameplay. MrGrae
The devs have implied (vaguely) that something like this MAY be possible in future, but I do like the sound of it and I hope the devs take it to heart cause that would be awesome!
DigitalMaster
oh.. i was thinking about combining 2-3 mods to get a random mod, so you can kinda gamble for the things you don't have yet
WingsOfGryphin
Sounds a lot better than scrapping unwanted mods. Selling commons for 200 each doesn't seem like a good way to profit.
Xtorma
Any suggestion to make a system better is always a good thing. The devs can weigh it and decide. I wish the mod screen would be a little more friendly. It can be extrememly annoying right now.
Aggh
+1 we had dual attribute mods in the old system. This could be part of the end game too. Dual attribute mods would probably have higher energy costs and would be mostly likely only be viable in polarized mod slots. If they did mod combination and gave us the ability to polarize slots, that could make for a lot of end game work and weapon/frame build variety, especially when they implement specialized mods and new war frame abilities. neKroMancer
It was mentioned but not yet implemented. Combined with character reset which change weapon/frame polarity, it would be nothing short of awesome. However, restriction in term of what could be 'transmute' and higher mod capacity should be a limiting factor.
