Everyone keeps telling me it is, yet I always come out on top in terms of kills with the Lex. I don't have one so I can't compare them myself. They both shoot close range targets the same way. Lato just lets you make up for bad aim by putting out more shots in the same time period. You would need more ranks in Hornet Strike and the elemental damage mods than you would need with the Lex.Getting the Lato Vandal to that level would be more expensive.
