How The New Outdoor Defense Maps Work

Hate how you're always getting the close quarter map, or the dam map when you don't want it? Not anymore!

 

The outdoor CQC map is only available when you have 2 or less people in queue (that means while in the lobby). The outdoor dam map only appears when you have 3 or more people in queue.

 

Time to do LFG for def maps, guys.

How does that explain me getting the non CQC map when I enter alone (in a mission that has the CQC map as well)?

Yea I've solo'd the dam. but only for 5 waves. took the reward and ran. map is too big solo.

 

On that note: New maps really encourage and challenge your ninja parkour.

Hmm, I may have forgotten some info. This applies to defense maps with 2 different map sets, such as Valefor.

I was able to get in the outdoor Dam map solo :p. Also it seems that map is only possible on Olympus and Valefor.

The three Outpost defense maps are randomized, it does not rely on a number of players to pick which one gets loaded. Same with every mission using them.

 

Fixes are coming very soon for enemy spawning and pathing issues on the new maps!
