Regarding Drops

All current drops are rather underwhelming when u have mods which give higher vitality, or higher max ammo, because you still get that 50hp orb with 1000 Health or that 20 ammo for your 800ammo box

 

This should be changed by giving % of your Max Attribute per pick up.

 

It should be:

 

12% of Max Health given per orb.

12% of Max Energy given per orb.

 

15% of Max Pistol Ammo given per drop.

12% of Max Rifle Ammo given per drop.

12% of Max Shotgun Ammo given per drop.

6% of Max Sniper Ammo given per drop.

 

Scavenger should still double the amount of ammo gained.

I'm not a high enough level to be effected by this yet, as glitches and bugged missions have severely held me back, but it makes sense to me that drops should quite possibly scale with you as you push forward in the game.

agreed. mainly on infested missions (for me atleast) because with my Boar it only gets 121 extra shots, so I run out of that quickly, so I go the my Aklato, run out of that, then go "OOH Pistol ammo!" pick it up, then go "oh wait, 20 out of 273 ammo capacity, ouch" so I keep having to stick with my melee, and with the health thing, I currently have 420 health (lvl 30 Excaliibur with 120% health and shields) and when I get low I only get 20 health back no matter what, and health is usally rare (unless I'm just unlucky) so it's even worse with that

Going to need way more than 6% for snipers.

My current sniper count is around 80, with slight modding.

Currently I get 10 shots per ammo pick-up, your proposal would drop it to around 5 shots, half what it is now.

 

This is insane.

With sniper ammo being very rare as a drop already, we need it to be closer to 15-20% ammo.

 

Other than that gripe?

Yeah, scaling pick-ups are a good idea.
