Elemental Mods

so, they recently changed the pool for elemental mods from rare to uncommon. Since then i have duplicates of almost every elemental mod for every weapon, except for the wicked ultra-super rare Molten Impact mod for mellee weapons :(.

How do u guys fare getting this mod? is it just my bad-luck with RNG or what?

i think its bad luck. I've only played for about 32 hours and i have every elemental mod i think for every weapon

It's mostly luck, but also remember that higher-level enemies and certain areas have different drop ratios. Some drops only drop when fighting Grineer, Infested or Corpus.

In my 30 hours of play (prior to this weekend) I had never found Melee Ice/Fire/Electrical, or Rifle Fire, or Pistol Fire, which of course made it a huge PITA to fight infested.

 

But now, since their fix, I've found one of each :)
