A Suggestion For Desecrate.

Let desecrate spawn a field that persists for x seconds in y range for z time that automatically desecrates new corpses for the nekros. It would reduce his 3 spam and give them more time to actually shoot enemies to produce more loot by themselves.

or give it a new animation which is one handed (like vauban's abilities) This way you would be able to use it while running, reloading, pretty much everything to be honest.

No, it's fine as it is.  It's not the power that's the problem, it's the players, their perception and how they choose to use the power.   If you want to get more kills, then stop spamming desecrate and kill something, then desecrate after the bodies pile up.   I swear I see idiots in the game spamming desecrate after every single body drops or just standing there spamming the power for no good reason LOL...and then you want to change the mechanics of the power when it's not broken?   Please! Let DE put time and resources into working on things that actually need the attention.

what you described would mean that duration is also important, so duration mods will be added. Which causes trouble with narrow minded and fleeting expertise and has to be compensated again.
Which means there is definitely no free slot left for another ability

It's fine the way it is.  Max Range & Efficiency is all you should have to worry about.  When you start as a Nekros on a team, expect not to do much killing.  You are adding support with the continuous orb/ammo spawn.  If you want to kill things, there are 19 other frames available.
