frame specic weapons?

I have not seen anythng on this. probably because i'm rather new. Is there a plan in place for this? Would be pretty easy way to buff some frames usefulness.

For example trinity may have a sidearm that reduces energy cost on one ability. Or perhaps increased potency. The weapon part of the stats could easily be sub optimal.

Or making "pistol" options that are basically stat sticks.

He has two suggestions from what I can see - one that is great, another which is not.

The first one being weapons that are specific to certain warframes - a sword that only Excalibur can use, for example. What sorts of bonuses those weapons would have, though, I'm not sure... That's a tricky spot.

The second being useless pistols, meant only to be used for the stats that they provide - while it isn't even a great idea to have "stat stick" weapons in a typical MMO, it's even worse in Warframe, as all stats present on a weapon only benefit that weapon.

the frame exclusive weapons could have bonuses to those frame skills, or reduced energy cost on their abilities or even something as mundane as bonus health or damage. thats kinda on the developers part

I'd like to see the two crossed daggers on Volt's waist getting utilized, or the things on Mag's forearms. It's lost potential for those to just be eye candy!
