Lootable Corpses

So after 5.3 launched I'm sure some of you noticed some suspiciously looking dead bodies that didn't disappear from the map scattered around on the ships.

If you have a loot radar you'll also notice they appear on it, and if you stand next to the corpse you'll see a "Loot Corpse" comman appear.

So far I haven't seen anything come from the corpses but, hey this promising!

Fairly certain those are only on ships that have taken on Fire damage, and that they were present before patch 5.3

None of the maps that I saw them on had fire damage and never saw them prior to 5.3

Sometimes they drop credits or ammo - that's about it. Maybe energy or health pickups now and then.

I had seen these bodies before the patch and noticed that if you walk over them, there is a "x Loot Corpse" command.

They seem to be a bit like any other locker except that there is a chance for nearly nothing to drop. I think they always give at least one bit of ammo. But I have had one pony up 1 of each orb a couple ammo and a load of credits.
